We are especially interested in learning of folk broadcasts from other areas that may not reach Atlanta proper.

WRFG 89.3 FM, Atlanta, Georgia

A listener-supported station featuring Roots and Heritage programming. Of special interest is a line-up of shows in the 7:00-9:00 pm weekday time slot known as the Peach State Festival that feature traditional, old time, and other acoustic music. WDVX plays Bluegrass, Americana, Classic Country, Alternative Country, Western Swing, Blues, Old Time and Traditional Mountain Music, Bluegrass Gospel, Celtic and Folk. Then, we throw in a little roots music from other parts of the world, as well as some good old rock-and-roll and the latest releases in Americana music. WDVX offers our listeners a variety of specialty shows featuring music you can’t hear anywhere else. WDVX also provides local and regional musicians an outlet for their talents.
