Chambers, John. JC’s ABC Tune Match at trillian.mit.eduhttp://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/cgi/abc/tunefind. At this site, you can browse tunes by title. You can also key in part or all of a title, or a sequence of notes, and the site returns all tunes in its extensive database that meet your search criteria. You can open most tunes as PDFs of the sheet music. In some cases, the only version available is in ABC format, but you can paste that file into an ABC converter that’s available for free at www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html and make printable sheet music.

Kuntz, Andrew. The Fiddler’s Companion: A Descriptive Index of North American and British Isles Music for the Folk Violin and Other Instrumentswww.ibiblio.org/fiddlers/.  The title accurately describes this site.

McConeghy, Matt.  Rhode Island Music—Collections and Sites: 1000’s of Tunes and Lyricshttp://mmcconeghy.com/RIMUSIC/tunes.htm. This is an extensive listing of traditional music sources.

Contact us at membership@aaffm.org if you know of other sources that should be included here. Thanks!
