Violinist Bella Issakova recently arrived to Atlanta from Los Angeles, CA, where she had a busy teaching and performing career.

Since receiving her classical education in the Sofia Music School in Bulgaria, as well as Tel Aviv's prestigious Thelma Yalin School, Ms Issakova has been a successful classical violinist. She has been involved with musical projects around the world and has shared the stage with Zubin Meta, Kurt Mazur, Krystian Zimmerman, Martin Chalifour, actors Angelica Houston, Noah Whyle, Sir Ben Kingsley and many others. She has performed with orchestras in Long Beach, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, CA, as well as in Bulgaria, Germany, Netherlands and Mexico.

A chance encounter with Irish Traditional music in 2000 led her to travel to Ireland and study the music from the source, and since 2003 Ms Issakova has been regularly performing and teaching Irish music as well. She is also a Kerry Records Featured Artist, and performs with the Kerry Records troupe annually.

Ms Issakova has a passion for teaching. She strives to make the learning process positive, reaffirming, and enriching and excels in tailoring her instruction to the specific needs of each individual student.
